Hi,

I'm running kernel-2.4.20-20.9 on a desktop installed with Pink Tie
Linux 9. Apparently plugging in any USB device (such as a Gemplus
GemPC430 SmartCard Reader - vendor/product IDs 0x08e6/0x0430) causes a
system hang. The keyboard stops responding and removing the device
doesn't help so a hard reset is needed. The only work-around is to not
load the usb-ohci.o controller module, indicating it's a driver issue
rather than some deeper electrical fault.

Some details might help - please ask if any more are needed.
