Hi,
I'm running RH Linux 7.3 with kernel 2.4.20 (self-compiled). A couple of
weeks ago, I purchased a Y-E device that consists of a floppy disk drive
as well as slots for reading/writing 6 types of media cards: Memory
Stick, Compact Flash, etc.. The floppy drive connects to the legacy
floppy controller, but the media card support connects to the USB bus.
It works fine under Windows XP. Although Linux's USB support identifies
the device and connects it to the usb-storage driver, it doesn't appear to
assign a SCSI device to the media slots. Here's what shows up in
/var/log/messages:

...and that seems to be the last trace of the device. No messages are
issued when I insert or remove a Memory Stick from the device.

Is this device supported in Linux 2.4.20, or will I get support if I
upgrade to a newer kernel? I've tried 2.4.22 without success; I backed
off to 2.4.20 due to unrelated problems.
