An after that, whith usbview I see the two hubs and two devices in one of
them, the mouse and the cam. But nothing that I plug in the other hub
is
detected or appears in the logs. I am completely lost, and after googling
for a while and searching in the list I haven't found anything

I hace noticed that other machines with redhat linux have the same
problem, i.e., the second usb hub is not working
