Hi Rogerio,
This might sounds stupid but I've heard of people with similar
problems saying this actually made a difference.... can you try inserting
it slowly? Their guess was that the device needs some time to power up
before it will talk happily (if you look at USB connectors you'll see that
two of them are longer than the otehr two).
