Before compiling my new kernel (2.4.22) the hotplug was allways execute /etc/hotplug/usb/usb-storage everytime I plugin my external USB HD
now after I have compile a new kernel hotplug don't eexecute /etc/hotplug/usb/usb-storage anymore !!! (I can use my USB HD without any problem)
Can anyone tell me what I have missed !!
Is hotplug running? I found that when I configured and built my new kernel I somehow broke things so that when I run /etc/init.d/hotplug start, it will seem to do okay but then say it failed. Running a status shows it unused.
I haven't yet dug into it to see what configs changed to cause that to happen...
