Hello,
ive got a question. I need a multi port usb serial converter (8 ports) for
linux. I saw that edgeport has got own driver for their 8 ports converter.
The problem is that the edgeport is too expensive so I want to buy a "no
name" product. But does it run with the generic driver ? Does it support
8 ports and what about the disadvantages ? Does anyone try this before ?
Btw im using the 2.6.1 kernel.
