I'm trying to get the pegasus driver to work correctly with my Linksys USB100H1 phoneline adapter. The ID's are vendor 0x066b and product 0x2204. It seems like the thing is working - the only warning message I get is 'link partner stat 0', meaning the chip's MII link partner status field is 0. I'm not a USB expert, but it seems like that's just saying that the link is working at 1Mb/s. The device shows up in /proc/bus/usb/devices.
I'm running the 2.4.25 kernel and am using the uhci module along with it. Is this the correct module? At first, I tried setting up the interface using DHCP, but then I tried to configure it manually based on the addresses I got from ipconfig in Windows XP. I still can't ping the ISP's server. I can ping it in Windows, so I know ping should work. I've been trying to look at the USB packets in Windows, but I can't seems to make the SnoopyPro tool work. Are there any other suggestions for what I could do to further diagnose this problem? I really need this connection, or my Linux will continue to be sans Internet! Please help! Thanks!! At the very least, I want to make sure the device is properly working and correctly configured. -- DB ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
