1. USB Keyboard
I am trying to get the multimedia keys on my usb mitsubishi electronics diamond touch internet keyboard to work. (It also includes two downstream usb ports).
I am looking for any and all information on how to get it going.

looking for my USB Mitsubishi Diamond Touch Internet Keyboard I find this; "Manufacturer=Acer, Product=Generic USB Hub Keyboard"

Armed with this knowledge I went to the Benq website as Benq is Acers' periphreal arm. I found a keyboard which was different, but offered the same functions and the keyboard casing and shape was very similar.
In fact the placement of the keys and buttons at the top are exactly the same apart from the multimedia setup which seems to be a different module between brands.

Mute (/)
Seems to be working as gnome picks this button up and displays the mute OSD though I don't know what its code is as xev and dmesg don't show anything when I press the button.
It doesn't actually mute anything though, but thats a problem in gnome/my machine.
As for the keys from left to right for the internet etc;

I can't get any codes for them.
I have on the other hand obtained some keycodes from Mitsubishi themselves.

Though I don't know how to insert this information into gnome or wherever I should
2. USB Webcam
A project I was once supporting seems to have stagnanted, and I was wondering if anyone else on the list was willing to lend their skills to it. Its the webcam support feature of the SQ905 based camera's.
I have a page up which explains some of the detiails.

Basically we have some code which worked at some point or another on a 2.4.21 based on another camera's source.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqcam/
Its a cheap but workable camera, one I hope to have working as I need to video conference every few weeks for my work.
