Oops! I wrote that before I saw your second message with the URLs for the system logs. This looks like it's a problem with something lower down than usb-storage. Maybe the OHCI driver, or maybe even interrupt management. You should repost your previous three messages, combined into one, on the linux-usb-devel list. Make the subject line something like this: Problem with OHCI/usb-storage in 2.6.7-rc2 (OK in 2.6.6) That will catch people's eyes. Be sure to include the URLs for your logs!
