Hello,
I am trying to mount the mini-sd in my A5403CA mobile via usb, I get a
"mount: /dev/sdc1 is not a valid block device error message."
...and dmesg shows...
usb.c: USB disconnect on device 02:08.1-1 address 3
hub.c: new USB device 02:08.1-1, assigned address 4
usb.c: USB device 4 (vend/prod 0x7cf/0x7001) is not claimed by any active driver.
in /proc/bus/usb/devices it shows...
T: Bus=02 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=12 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=02(comm.) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=16 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=07cf ProdID=7001 Rev= 0.00 S: Manufacturer=CASIO COMPUTER CO.,LTD S: Product=au A5403CA C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr=100mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=02 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
Since Cls is not (stor.) I guess it the device is not recognized as storage device. Is there anyway to get it recognized or at least be able to read data off it. Is this a case of the vendor or I needs to write a driver, or is there something generic for sd/mini-sd cards available.
Other devices I have (flash media and Sony handicam) show in /proc/scsi/scsi but the cellphone mini-sd does not.
$less /proc/scsi/scsi
