I have not made a backup which is sitting in the shelf. Connected another drive (again a Seagate 200G drive) to the USB-to-IDE box, bootet linux 2.6.7. cp -a foo bar lasted about 20 seconds before the first SCSI error was logged. Jul 22 18:15:09 lefler kernel: SCSI error : <0 0 0 0> return code = 0x70000 Jul 22 18:15:09 lefler kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 73667030 What can I do to find out more?
