Well, since those things aren't normally supplied with the motherboard kits, where did you get that device? Or was it part of a ready built system? I've not done those since forever, too bloody expensive to pay wally's price for an el-strippo, when I can build one the way I want it usually.

I am headed out of town; I'll need a few days to find the original parts list.

What was wrong with the cables, or were you able to determine that?

Couldn't determine a thing. Direct connect worked, the cable to the front did not, end of story!
