Well. I think it has same problem as my drive. It reports blocks wrong.
Do you mean that the Freecom USB case is wrong or that the kernel 2.6.8 module is wrong?
Well that drive works with 2.6.9rc4mm1 kernel + unusual_devs patch. Not with 2.6.9rc4 (linus-vanilla)
But looks that mm1 is not enought stable to use. At least in my system
firefox and mozilla crashes and system sometimes freezes. So need to wait, maybe bugs are fixed in next release and patch for that drive is applied to mainstream kernel.
