these mean that the protocol is specific to the device,
so you would need a data sheet to know how to talk to it.

That seems to be the code for Authentic, Inc.

There is another product of the same manufacturer in the database,
the Biopod (http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=2958),
but without linux support.

You just need to pester the manufacturer for a data sheet
and then write a driver ;-)
