I have problem connecting a usb audio headset to a usb 2.0 hub which inturn is connected to the root hub on the system . There are lots of noice while playing an audio in the above configuration. But I do not have any problem if the usb hub on which the usb audio set is plugged in is an 1.1 compliant usb hub. It plays sound with no noice at all. Could someone suggest me how to emulate an usb 2.0 hub to an usb 1.1 hub so that I could resolve the problem. It is not prossible to replace the hub since it is part of a product design.
I use fedora core 3 and have tested with the lastest kernel 2.6.11-rc5. The problem still exsit.
