Our system is debian using kernel 2.4.23. We're trying to access the MultiModem GSM/GPRS using USB port. The problem is we cannot CONNECT or INITIALIZE the modem using AT command. We're just wondering is this USB modem supported in kernel 2.4.23 ? If not, what kernel version it's supposed be supported?
We have defined these modules in the /etc/modules in order to detect the modem:
usb-uhci
usbserial vendor=0x6e0 product=0xf108
Everything seems to be working, but when trying to connect...it's just not responding.
Any idea what could be the problems? Please help....
