Hello, I've just bought a brand new Dimage Z5 Camera (Konica Minolta).
When I try it on Linux (Mandrake 10.1) , it is not recognized. Using lsusb, I know that its IDs are 132b:0021. This looks good compared to the current list of IDs ( 132b is for Konica Minolta) and 0017 was the ID for Dimage Z3, a previous camera). You can update the list :+). When using dmesg, there is a problem with usb-core returning -1. I guess the IDs are not unserstood and so no association is made for the camera. How can I update the list ? May be I have to have a look at kernel source in USB part ? Do you have any pointers ? ideas ? Should I RTFM (which one ?) Thanks. Philippe. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
