I got exactly the same result, unsurprisingly, with the same combination. I wrote to Konica Minolta and got the typical teflon shouldered 'it only works on windoze' response. Then... Suitably heartened I tried it on my Suse 9.2 box (stuck in the corner 'cos its not a laptop) and the camera worked fine. In fact, it worked better than on Windows XPsp2. The camera displays a 'initialising USB' interface indefinitely on Mandrake 10.1, and for 10 seconds on Windows. It is rather quicker on Suse. I have written back to Konica saying that I believe they have omitted some part of the mass storage handshake, and that the OSs upon which it works do so by ignoring the error. There is no need for it to take 10 seconds to connect. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: NEC IT Guy Games.
