Johan, I can verify that I have the same problem on FC3/2.6 and that you won't be able to get this drive working with firewire either. The only bit of good news for you is that it works perfectly fine on the 2.4 kernel with RH9. Someone broke something in 2.6. I suspect that it is a scsi problem, not just USB because the problem is similar with firewire. If anyone knows anyone that would look at this, I'm willing to try just about anything to get it working.
