It's barely possible that the patch I sent you before really will help.
>From the detailed log it was clear that you had not installed that patch
correctly. Try putting it back in and rebuilding the driver, and post
the log file you get.
There's one more thing you can try: set max_sectors to 32 or even 16. See
http://www.linux-usb.org/FAQ.html#i5
for an explanation of max_sectors and how to use it. After setting the
value you may need to rmmod sd-mod and then modprobe sd-mod.
