Hi all, I setup a Linux server with IBM 560Z (laptop). There is an USB 1.0 controller on board. Recently, I tried to upgrade to USB2.0 with an additional USB2.0 PCMCIA card.
Problem: My external USB(2.0) hard drive CANNOT be detected after I plugged it into the slot of USB PCMCIA card. What I tested: 1) The external USB(2.0) hard drive worked perfectly when I plugged it through the USB 1.0 controller on board. I can mount the drive through /dev/sda. 2) The external hard drive can work perfectly under Windows through USB 2.0 PCMCIA card. Do I need to setup anything else for USB 2.0 PCMCIA card? Thanks.
