Sorry, I was unclear. What I meant is "putting a hub between the card and the drive didn't work since it didn't work without the hub there". Odd... I saw ehci-hcd loaded, so I unloaded it and loaded ohci-hcd, and now everything works. Then I rebooted, and again ehci-hcd was loaded, and if I rmmod it and modprobe ohci, things began to work, and now the mountpoints in /media are working properly. And strangely enough, there's no ohci-hcd driver loaded anymore. I'm really puzzled, probably because I know next to nothing about USB... Also, if someone wants to tell me where to read up on hid's, I'd appreciate it as I've got a bluetooth kbd & mse, and bt seems to build on the usb idioms... -- http://www.lightconsulting.com/~travis/ -><- "We already have enough fast, insecure systems." -- Schneier & Ferguson GPG fingerprint: 50A1 15C5 A9DE 23B9 ED98 C93E 38E9 204A 94C2 641B ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ Linux-usb-users@lists.sourceforge.net To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
