Hello.....List I am having trouble with a usb-hard-drive on a gentoo-linux ibm-thinkpad...
kernel is 2.6.15 The strange thing is, that sometimes it works and sometimes (most of the times) it does not....and it keeps on spinning (clicking) but its impossible to get it mounted..... It is a small hard-Disk..Power comes over the usb-cable. Any idea where i can start troubleshooting ????
