I upgraded to 2.6.16.18 today - same problem. However I did find out that my USB flash stick doesn't work in "high speed" mode either. If I rmmod ehci_hcd then both devices fall back to "full speed" mode (12MBits/sec) and work fine. However copying 100 GB at 12 Mbits/sec takes 18.5 hours which is a real show stopper for my work. If it's a bug in the USB devices then why does Windows XP handle high speed devices perfectly? Is Linux less fault tolerant than Windows?
