It's not much in the way of effort. ;)

The chatter that I see is attached. [ EDIT -- was, but my mail keeps 
getting rejected ]

Here's an aspect that I'd completely forgotten in the last year.
Occasionally the mouse is assigned a different ID (I think?), and then
stops causing resets.
