Hi, I've got the same problem here, with a Behringer UCA202 : (lsusb) Bus 002 Device 002: ID 08bb:2902 Texas Instruments Japan On an iBook G4 with the same OHCI controller : (lspci) 0001:10:1b.0 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43) 0001:10:1b.1 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB (rev 43) 0001:10:1b.2 USB Controller: NEC Corporation USB 2.0 (rev 04) With a 2.6.18, latest from Debian Etch (2.6.18-4-powerpc).
Note that the delay before going silent may vary, from 30s to 2min. I tried to load the module with different nrpacks' parameter values, but it doesn't change anything. But the sound is still coming back when the track changes (i.e. when the device is reopened, i think). I also tried plugging this device with an usb hub in between : (lsusb) Bus 004 Device 008: ID 05e3:0606 Genesys Logic, Inc. and the behavior changed : the sound doesn't mute anymore after some time, but i get some glitches in the sound from time to time, but a bit less often than the rate at which the device muted when plugged directly (this is just a feeling, not a very precise measurement). If it migth help... Benjamin Cama PS: Please CC me, i'm not subscribed ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
