Hi, We have a bunch of servers to which we recently attached a set of external USB drives. The drives and enclosures are all identical as are the Intel chipsets, OS and Kernel builds.
Two of these servers are from separate manufacturers and error when you try to mount the drives. For one of these boxes I've switched on full USB debugging and post dmesg below. The rest of the servers can use the drives fine. Can you suggest anything to debug / fix? Thanks, James fff54000 - 0xfffff000 ( 684 kB) pkmap : 0xff800000 - 0xffc00000 (4096 kB) vmalloc : 0xf8800000 - 0xff7fe000 ( 111 MB) lowmem : 0xc0000000 - 0xf8000000 ( 896 MB) .init : 0xc03c8000 - 0xc0413000 ( 300 kB) .data : 0xc02df1be - 0xc03c0714 ( 901 kB) .text : 0xc0100000 - 0xc02df1be (1916 kB) Checking if this processor honours the WP bit even in supervisor mode...
