They indicate that the EHCI controller on your computer isn't able to communicate with the device. Either a bad connection is mangling the signal somehow, or else the USB hardware on the computer or on the device isn't working quite right. Do you have any other high-speed devices to test the EHCI controller with? Do you have other computers to try plugging the device into?
