The USB interface inside the cable, huh. Well, I guess I bought a too 
cheap cable, because I don't think there is any chip in it; when I 
insert only the cable, nothing happens. I guess I should have taken the 
advice from www.openwrt.org with a grain of salt. The advice was:
' take any datacable '. This one was about 8 bucks, while others are 25 
or so.

Anyway, good to know though that it is as simple as that. Back to the shop!
