hpa said that Linus wants(wanted) USB devs in /dev/usb/*
and not just in /dev. This wouldn't apply to webcams
using /dev/videoN or /dev/input/* (USB HID et al),
but should apply to /dev/usb/rio500 IMO.
I think that everything in linux/Documentation/devices.txt,
major 180 (char), should be in /dev/usb/. That includes
printers, scanners, dc2xx, mdc800, rio500 [and dab if
anyone outside of in.tum.de had one ?].
And Nick, after you have the list updated, please run
it by us again.

We never were straight on if we're staying with a flat /dev dir or a more
