Dear all,
being annoyed about the incapability of W98 to deal with big high-resolution
scans I am now trying to get my Mustek 1200CU scanner to work under Linux.
I have installed the 2.3.99-pre5 kernel and sane-1.0.2. I have created
/dev/usbscanner with major 180, minor 48.
I get the following:
# scanimage -d mustek:/dev/usbscanner -T -v
usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
scanner.c: read_scanner(0): NAK received
scanimage: open of device mustek :/dev/usbscanner failed: Error during
device I/O

Please help.
