What do you mean "there are not any message" with the uhci module?

Does everything work fine?

Does it only detect the hub?

Does it detect the hub and no device insertions are detected.

The kawasaki chip has a new driver. It works successfully for me.

Quite possibly.

I'd like to get a better idea of what the problem is before we change
anything.
