Hi
Can anybody help me?
I'm trying to install my logitech usb mouse on my suse6.4 system, and
this is what /proc/bus/usb/devices says:
T: Bus=01 Lev=00 Prnt=00 Port=00 Cnt=00 Dev#= 1 Spd=12 MxCh= 2
B: Alloc= 17/900 us ( 2%), #Int= 1, #Iso= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0000 ProdID=0000 Rev= 0.00
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr= 0mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hub
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 8 Ivl=255ms
T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=1.5 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=046d ProdID=c002 Rev= 1.20
S: Manufacturer=Logitech
S: Product=USB-PS/2 Mouse M-BA47
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=a0 MxPwr= 50mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=01 Prot=02 Driver=usb_mouse
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 8 Ivl= 10ms

So I would say the mouse is there...
But where?
This is lsmod(the interesting part):

usbmouse 1028 0 (unused)
input 1792 1 [usbmouse]
usb-uhci 17336 0 (unused)

Mhh, I don't know why the mouse doesn't use the usbmouse modul.
Finally cat /dev/usbmousexxx shows definetly 'no such device'
no difference if I try the 10, 32 or the 13, 32 device(I don't know wich
one would be right, maybe anybody know, it's the original suse 6.4
2.2.14 Kernel with usb, sensors etc. extension.)
It would be great if anybody could tell me what I would have to do to
make my mouse work, in particular it is the Logitech mouseman wheel,
full version(not oem etc.)
Thanks a lot
 Christopher
