What is an "isolationalist" (is that a real word?) API ? One that's
*just* for a specific type of device ? As in, "everyone use the
"input_register_device()" for most devices, but for FDDI chipset drivers,
use input_register_fddi_device(), because we've given that some extra
parameters" ?
