I am running 2.4.0-test1-ac5 with claudios
ov511_1.15cm3-2.4.0test1-ac4.patch. Picture quality is improving and I have
survived roughly 30000 open/snap picture/close cycles between kernel
crashes( I am running a time lapse camera experiment). One item that seems
to be a problem with the webcam (creative labs webblaster III) is that the
auto gain control seems to hunt badly under certain lighting conditions,
jumping from a dark picture to a light picture.... has anyone noticed
similar behavior?
Any register mods that may be worth a try?
I have not been able to contact claudio lately at conectiva or helllabs...
seems to be a name server problem with my ISP. Are you still alive claudio?
Is there a more recent ov511 patch?
Mark, how sync'd are your and claudios patches?
