Hi,
I've been trying to get my zip 100 to work with 2.3.99-pre5 and
2.4.0-test1-ac[1|8] to no avail. My motherboard has a UHCI controller on
it. I've tried both the uhci and usb-uhci modules, each gives just about
the same results. I've read in a few places that I might have better luck
getting a PCI card w/ and OHCI controller and using that instead of the
onboard controller. Can anyone verify this?
Also, I'm more than happy to send the logs of what's going wrong w/ the
zip & UHCI, but I've seen enough messages from irate developers dealing
with zip users, I don't want to be one of those people :-) If it helps
I'll zap over the logs. I don't have too much time on my hands to hack at
code, but if it comes to that I don't mind digging in.
