>From a friend who has researched this: Kodak no longer makes the gold, they're now covered with some die (probably then looking blue). Kodak are good quality, but are the most sensitive to laser writing power (due to their gold layer I think it was). Other good brands are TDK and (I forgot). The TDK have a much higher range of laser writing power. Dick Smith may have some packs of 11 with anti-dust pocket TDK for 14.95 left (not in Riccarton). Low quality brands are imation, verbatim, and he mentioned a few others which I'd have to ask him again for. Volker
