Can't comment about your specfic MB proposal, but we have installed 2 servers at school with AMD K6-II-500 processors and various on-board devices no problem (including on board AGP video). Various other machines havbe been installed with on board LAN cards and they are fine - just picked up as another PCI device. Both servers have been up for nearly a year now with no hardware issues.
