Well you chose Deadrat 6.2, what do you expect? I thought the only people using Deadrat these days were people who enjoy the proverbial dependancy nightmare. Its getting to the stage where people on #linux pretty much refuse to help anyone who doesn't use debian for this very reason. Too many people using rpm based distros, and judging linux in general by their experiences. Install debian 2.2, r5 has just been released this week. (Use unstable if you want the latest stuff, its stabler than most distros stable release.)
