I looked into this briefly a little while ago after finding a Mac (on the
side of the road , with a note saying "Works well, but I don't need it
anymore"). M68K linux seemed the way to go. The carvets were that you
needed a partition with a Mac OS on to boot the machine before firing up
Linux, which in my case would have meant installing another scsi hard drive.
So I gave it away.
