True, at this point in time. However as it's usage on the desktop increases, so will 
the number of viruses being targetted at it.

Theres no protection from user stupidity and the like, the old 'i got an email of a 
cool thing that draws fireworks on my screen and now my computer won't boot'...

I think that the point being made here is the fact that Linux is inherently far more virus proof than Windows, and this point needs to be stressed, especially when it is being considered in enterprise deployment situations.
