Title: Message
I joined the linux user group as a very newbie linux user, with the hopes of being able to gain some valuable knowledge. While this is the case most of the time, and agree that differences of opinions is generally a good way to bring together a vast range of knowledge.
But, do we really need our inbox filled with trivial rantings of opinions that serve no better to either side. Do not get me wrong, I am not trying to suppress anyones right to opinions, but might I suggest that before anyone posts... just think if it is really relevant to everybody on the list.... I should think that todays postings would not measure up to this in general.
If people do want to receive these type of postings, then maybe we could standardise the subject heading, so that those of us that would rather not receive these type of messages....

example:

Subject:  Opinion --- Microsoft Sux

Ok, so now I know to not even bother reading this.

Cheers, and apologies for posting a message that goes against what I am asking, but this I my behalf will be the only posting of this kind... and I hope will generate some feedback...

Adam
