Has anyone used a CD writer connecting via USB, and if so is it a recommended way of doing things?
I'm considering USB because I'll be able to swap the drive between my collection of PCs and eventually plug it into my PS2 when I get the Linux kit. OTOH if it's dog slow, expensive and unreliable, I'll just get an internal one for the moment.
