Been there, done that, got the teeshirt... I have a number of domain names registered under my trading name 'Ohmark Electronics' which is not a 'properly constituted organisation'.
I found out this, as you did, when I went to transfer a domain.. They (Domainz) are happy to let people continue to register domain names online with any old name, but if you try and do anything offline with them they jump down your throat. Better than that, they want to charge me $49 per domain name to move them to my other domaian name holder account, which is in my personal name. And they created the Ohmark electronics holder ID for me!! About 4 years go, as I sent them a fax request on my ohmark letterhead, they assumed I wanted it under that name... ARHG. </rant> :-). Fair enough you would think, however when asked if this will affect other domains which were registered years ago without the 'limited' bit, they said it would cause problems but they're not going to do anything about advising people of all the changes... ###################################################################### The contents of this e-mail message may be privileged and/or confidential.
