No prob, I was just wondering.  Is is feasible to set up your Windows 
box to dual boot Win/Linux??  Then you can slowly try to see how that 
works accessing your multimedia stuff.  Are there no Linux drivers for 
your hardware or are there other issues??  You'd still have the Win 
option but it may slowly help you wean off the M$ fix.  I dual boot but 
only use Win 98 for about 4 programs there is no equvalent for under 
Linux yet.  Having said that, I haven't booted Windows in a very long 
time.  My .02c worth...
