It has improved greatly since ihug have moved onto the new (more
expensive) pricing scheme.  I now find it reliable with ~50KBytes the norm
per connection.  ie 200-250 KB with five simultaneous connections.  I am
on the old scheme with the $15 snapon and 2c/MB for anything over 4GB, if
I choose the right times ;)
