I installed suse 8.0 last night on my athlon 1133 with nvdia video card,
and ps/2 mouse . When it finally booted after install the mouse cursors
are not visible in 1024*768. If I use ctrl-alt-+ to change to 640*480 or
800*600 the mouse cursor is there, but hell this is no way to use a
computer! The mouse cursors are there in other distros using the same
settings.

In 1024*768 the mouse still works, ie buttons change when you hover over
them, but its a hard way to navigate around! Also some of the kde
cursor things (like the little thing that flashes while its waiting for
a program to start up) do appear, then disappear leaving you once again
without much clue as to where the mouse is pointing.

Anyone seen this type of behaviour before? Or , better still, have a
solution?
