Sorry, like many of my explanations it makes perfect sense to me, but
not to anyone else :-)

There is no arrow mouse pointer. Some other pointers appear from time to
time. The mouse itself will work, and you can see the buttons change as
you mouse over them, but there is no arrow, so you gotta wiggle the
mouse around the screen until you see it pass over some button or link
that changes on a mouse-over. It ain't easy!
