Hi all.

Are there any recommended anti-virus software packages to run on linux
servers? I've been rummaging the net having a look at various products
(Vixera, RAV, Panda Antivirus, f-prot...) but wonder if anybody on this list
has any particular favourites they have had dealings with? It would be very
helpful if you could include the reason why you like it.

Some aspects which interests me:

- ability of it to detect viruses and clean files (including activeX and other
win stuff)
- ease of setup (I also have other things to do with my time)
- ease of virus signature updates
- ability to scan all file types
- integration with sendmail
- value for money
- can it also be used for workstation protection?
- Built in intrusion detetcion and all that sort of thing is not a requirement
- support (ie do they actually have someone answering the phone? and who knows
what they are talking about?)

Our network consists of a linux file/mail server, 3 linux and 3 windoze
workstations. We're only a small business (about 8 staff) so a multi million
dollar system is out of the question.

Any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated. I would like to avoid
making all the same mistakes others made.....

Thanks,
Bert.
