Hi again,
On observing how the installfest sub group mailing list seemed to get the
organization of the installfest under way so quickly. But as expected there
were a lot of emails per day. I am left wondering if such a sub group would
be good serving the organization of CLUG as a whole?
We all seem to agree that our LUG is best run with out a formal committee
structure, but what if we had a mailing list for CLUG organization that had
no joining or leaving restrictions. Anyone interested in helping with the
organization of CLUG meetings, displays, workshops, installfests,
promotion-of-National-installfests, social-events, could join/unsubscribe
the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list (address example only) at
will.
Thus leaving the main [EMAIL PROTECTED] that everyone is in
talking about LINUX technical issues and using it to announce events or for
getting a general consensus on organization issues. There by not flooding
the main list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with organization
technicalities.
        Comments invited.

yours truly.
